How can I get involved as a volunteer?
We’re so glad you're interested! Volunteer Applications open October 1st and will close October 31st. To be considered for a volunteer position, there is an application which includes a background check.
What kinds of volunteer opportunities are available?
We assign several volunteer teams that serve the entire weekend of conference. On the application you will select areas that interest you.
For example, Merchandise, Registration, Welcome Team, Prayer Team, etc.
Do I need any special training or experience?
We will host a mandatory Volunteer Meeting, Friday, February 27th at 1:00pm at Bent Tree Bible.
Is there an age requirement to volunteer?
Yes, volunteers must be 25 years of age. However, we occasionally offer student volunteer roles for college students, with approval from our Leadership Team.
What is the time commitment for volunteering?
We ask that you commit to volunteering the entire weekend.
Friday, February 27th from 1:30pm-10:00pm and Saturday, February 28th from 7:30am-4:00pm.
Will I be able to attend the event as a participant if I’m volunteering?
Serving at THERE{4} Gathering does not allow for much participation in the gathering itself. Although there are scheduled breaks, We want to ensure that all areas are covered with volunteers and to be present throughout the weekend.
Do you require a Background Check for volunteers?
Yes, we will require each volunteer to complete a background check prior to volunteering.
Where should I stay?
We encourage volunteers to stay near the venue due to the full schedule. The hotel options will be provided once your application has been processed. You are also welcome to book any hotel options listed on our website.
Which meals are provided for volunteers?
We will provide dinner Friday night, breakfast Saturday, and lunch Saturday. If you have food allergies, we strongly encourage you to pack your own food or snacks. THERE{4} will also have a Volunteer Break room with snacks and drinks available throughout the weekend.
What happens if I am accepted to volunteer then are unable to serve?
We realize that emergencies sometimes arise and alter your availability to serve. If you apply and later find out that you cannot serve, please contact us as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
